Oddly, today, I seemed to be in this deep "inquisitive" ( heheh. probably not the write context, but whatever ) mood. I was in the school hallway, travelling from math class to science class and I was getting really frustrated with the amount of people blocking my path. So I did something I hadn't done in a long time -- I started thinking of solutions.
When I was younger, I had this weird habit of having to do everything perfectly. Pencils in my pencil case must be facing the same way, books must sorted my date of first printing, colours should be assorted according to ROYGBIV. I never realized it until now when I started reflecting on how I was in the past.
Now lets get back to my incident in the hallway.
I started thinking about how great it woul be to just float above everyone Harry Potter Style ( I had a good 3 metres of nothingness above ). This somehow lead me to imagine being less dense than air. Suddenly, it occured to me that I was using logic ( something I hadn't used in a long time ) and it occurred to me that ever since I became less logical, I became worse math. Funny, eh? Anywho, this, in turn, lead to this sudden ray of intelligence :
Math is just simply logic with numbers!
HAha! Took me a long time to figure that out. *-*

Epiphany
I just realized that if you're reading my blog, chances are that you're from Wattpad, right? I mean, it's the only place where I've posted my blog link and if, by chance, you're not from Wattpad, go check it out. You don't know what you're missing.
So because of this sudden epiphany, I guess I'll be posting some Wattpad related stuff too.
P.S. If anyone out there is even reading this blog, could you please comment? It would be nice to know I'm not doing all of this in vain. </3

APS project leads me to an awesome video. kewl.
Since I have a project due this Wednesday for my " Introduction to Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology " couse, I decided that I better get started. So I went ahead and searched up some articles related to the course. I finally came upon a very interesting article which lead me to a CBC video entitled : " Babies: Born to be good?".
I watched the documentary, and it was
AMAZING.
Simply enlightening. Purely delightful. Not to mention ALL THE BABIES! Boy were they cute!
So here's the link:
Please do watch it. You won't regret it.
I'm going to tune in November 8, when CBC airs their "Nuts abour Squirrels" episode. I'm curious about the little critters that steal all the damn tomatoes in my backyard.
Seeyall,
Oddrey.

The Isabel Factor- Gayle Friesen
Well, as school is coming a long (well more like homework has been coming along) I’ve hadn’t had the time to pursue my new found hobby--blogging. When I first discovered blogging, I was a bit skeptical at first but gradually I came to understand that blogging was just another way of showing the world what you love and enjoy.
Last year, as I was choosing my courses, I made an oh-so subtle decision to take family studies as one of my electives. Little did I know that my idea of the course was way off. I had imagined family studies to be a course for old soul youngsters like me who, could sit still for long periods of time just chatting and knitting away. Anyhow, family studies turned out to be filled with lots of note-taking and fun filled written tests. (did anyone else catch on to the sarcasm there?). One of our projects was an ISP on a book about “teenager problems”
Now, I chose this book mainly because I loved the cover with the pretty daffodil on it. However if it had had an ugly brown pooey cover (believe me I’ve seen books with covers worst than that) then I would have chosen this book for it’s interesting and unique title—the Isabel Factor. I was surprised by this book. Written by Gayle Friesen, it has a pleasant mood to it and is told trough the perspective of Anna, our main character. I gotta say, I love Gayle’s writing style.
Time to be short and sweet to the point. The book was just not my cup of tea. It was unique, but the plot and emotion put into it was just so empty and bland.
I've read far better books that have created better lasting impressions.

Eww
Okay, so today, I decided that after a several month hiatus, it would be interesting if I logged back onto my bkog account. After watching "Hotel Transylvania" with my close friend and eating 2 large Frozen Yogourts, I really didn't feel like doing any work.
I logged in.
And I was completely blown away by how different blogger was. First off, the easy editing layout that I adored when I first made this blog was replaced with some non-unique, boring system. Bummer. Second, I realized that there was really no point of me blogging anything and that it was completely uneccesary to put out information about myself that noone even reads. ( Not to mention a serious security phobia thing I have ). Fortunately, despite these 2 revelations, I'll still be posting my life (allowing it to live forever, since NOTHING EVER GETS DELETED FROM THE INTERNET ).
So here I am, a little girl who is so not ready to tackel the world.

Charlie's Raven by Jean Craighead George
I was in Math class felling VERY bored, when on the book shelf , I spotted a book! And lone and behold that book was Charlie's Raven by Jean Craighead George. Interested, I picked it up to read and found the blurb very interesting. Class ended and it wasn't until I left the class that I realized I brought the book with me! Feeling extremely lazy, I decided to keep it with me and finish reading it.
So far, the book is very well writen allthough it is quite confusing at certain parts. I like the author's writing style alot and the book seems to be quite unique so far. My summary of the plot will be posted soon as I finish the book!
